It includes the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Strait of Georgia, Puget Sound, Desolation Sound, Hood Canal, Bellingham Bay, and the waters and straits surrounding the San Juan Islands, among others. Major cities that sit on the Salish Sea include Vancouver, Seattle, Victoria, Tacoma, Bellingham, Everett, and Olympia.
